Cecil’s hair closely resembles a curly mop. Thick, pale brown curls cover his head and bangs dangle in his eyes, forcing him to continuously brush them out of the way. The man is constantly tempted to shave them off but his sister always loved his curls. He lets them grow in tribute of her, to show that even after her passing, he still loves her. The color of his hair has changed over the years, even if the style hasn’t. As a young child, he had pale blonde hair to the point that it looked white in the sun. As time went on, the color has grown darker and his curls wilder.

The color of his eyes matches the color of his hair. Cecil’s gaze is a coppery color with a slightly darker ring surrounding his pupils. Even as a small child, people have commented on how Cecil has the eyes of an old soul, deep and thoughtful. It is easy to tell when the man slips into thought, his eyes disappearing far away. To Cecil’s pleasure, his eyesight is perfect. He has no need for glasses or any devices to improve his eyesight. Cecil’s eyes also sport small aging lines, despite his young age. After years of stress, chaos, and depression, permanent lines form at the corner of his eyes.

Cecil is built small but strong. He only stands at around five feet, ten inches but he has wide shoulders and a stable body. As long as Cecil keeps up with his health, he doesn’t easily gain weight and can quickly develop muscle. Despite his small stature, Cecil’s legs are long compared to the rest of his body, giving him a lanky appearance. In ways, Cecil still resembles a teenage boy. Cecil’s fingers are also abnormally long in length and the joints can be seen clearly.

Something that people often notice is that Cecil’s nose is exceptionally crooked. Received in a fight around a year ago, due to lack of treatment, it remains crooked and red on the bridge. Cecil also has three long scars across the side of his left shoulder. He usually wears a shirt to cover the marks and when asked about their origin, he often refuses to tell the story.

PERSONALITY !
DESCRIPTION:

Cecil doesn’t care for anyone or anything. Emotions are scarce for this young man. He stays passive to nearly everything that happens around him as a type of defense mechanism. If he doesn’t act as if he cared, then he eventually truly just doesn’t care. This way, he cannot be hurt as he once was. This has caused him to grow blunt and cold-hearted. He doesn’t care how people view him and will often insult and leave his words unfiltered despite apparent consequences. His tone is often dull and monotonous, just to emphasize the belief that nothing can touch him. Cecil believed that nothing could affect him emotionally and so it became a reality.

Despite his ‘nothing-effects-me’ nature, Cecil does have a short fuse. When set off, he doesn’t back down. He is quick to start a fight and will often attack, sometimes without true purpose. Many times, it has taken another person pulling Cecil off of his victim before he kills them to end the fight. Cecil is also not afraid to attack verbally, his words coming out in a flurry of curses and insults. His tactics for gaining power can be described as aggressive as well. He prefers to fight with fists and abilities to gain power and isn’t afraid to use his element to win these battles. Water is sometimes considered the weakest element but Cecil has learned to use it to his advantage.

Intelligent doesn’t even begin to describe Cecil’s mental capabilities. It is in his nature to analyze, deduct, and reason about the world around him. He can read people by glancing at a face or watching the way they walk. Nothing gets past Cecil, making his a powerful asset to the Knighthood. Memorization also comes naturally to Cecil. Equipped with an excellent photographic memory, he can glance at pages of books or photographs or a computer screen for only a minute and have the information stored for later use. That also applies to faces and names of people which is information he obsessively collects so that he can know what is happening in Blackwood Hollow at all times.

Since the death of his sister, Cecil’s mental health has been less than favorable. It isn’t common to catch him talking to himself or acting completely out of character. There are times where he can be calm and in the next second be shouting and throwing around threats. It seems that seeing the brutal death of his sister, it affected his thought patterns. Usually he thought through the consequences and made carefully thought out decisions. Now, he acts impulsively and isn’t afraid to bodily harm those that he is angry at. This is clearly shown when he attacked a fellow Shade member a year prior, permanently blinding him.

HISTORY !
DESCRIPTION:
- Cecil was born and raised in Blackwood Hollow. His mother was a water Elemental and his father was an earth Elemental. Along with his younger sister of three years, Cecil grew up a normal child.
- He attended Blackwood Academy and was prized by his teachers as a great student, bright and eager to learn. The only problem that arose was the boy’s strange and morbid interest in death, something that scared his family and educators.
- Unknown to Cecil, his father was a part of the Shade, working behind the scenes to get his family out of Blackwood Hollow. The Guard caught wind of this though and attacked the family at home.
- Cecil’s father and mother were killed by the Guard on terms of treason, leaving Cecil and Lisa, at the time seventeen and fourteen, to fend for themselves.
- That was when Cecil had to leave Blackwood Academy and to keep himself and his sister out of trouble, Cecil became a snitch.
- The following year, Cecil was recruited into the Shade as an undercover member.
- Not long after his recruitment, Cecil started fighting with his sister after she discovered his affiliation with the Shade. After one particular fight, she left the Bunkhouse and Cecil would not find her to the next morning, beaten to death by a couple drunk Guard members.
- Since then, Cecil hasn’t quite been himself. He cares about the Shade less and less and getting revenge for his sister’s death more.
